Join The Ministry

All Intercessors must have a consistent, recognizable prayer life. A prayer warrior that knows the importance of standing in the gap and interceding for others (the church, Pastors, the leaders, the community, our city, state, country…wherever there's a need). Ability to teach prayer and encourage others of the importance of continual and effective prayer. And visit the sick and shut-in and pray for them and their families.

Praise, Worship and Music leaders must live a life of holiness and have the ability to usher in the spirit of God through prayer, praise, worship, instrumental music, songs & hymns. Must be humble, know that there’s no “I” or “Me” when worshiping God and can lead our congregation into an atmosphere of the Open Heavens.

12+ is our connect ministry where we, the congregation, leaders and Pastors fellowship outside of church. This ministry is responsible for the ideas, activities, dates and places and communicating them out. Those within this ministry must be good at organizing events, be creative and fun and have the ability to effectively communicate.

Leaders and volunteers in Children’s Ministry must have the ability to relate to and teach children about the bible, Jesus Christ and Salvation on their level. Must have a heart for God’s babies, help them see who God created them to be, and show them that it’s okay to be different. And keep them engaged in church functions and activities

Must be an educator at heart, even without a degree. Must have a passion for continual learning, spiritual growth and discipleship; and a willingness to teach others. This ministry is responsible for teaching the new beginners classes (EDoC), as well as planning, creating strategies, and coordinating ongoing educational classes for EQUIP.

Those leading the Outreach ministry must have a heart for God’s people. Have faith and believe that if God did “it” for us, HE can do the same and more for others. They must have a prayer life, know the Word of God as they will be responsible for spreading HIS Word and HIS love throughout the community. This ministry is also responsible for developing community outreach programs and strategies to fulfill our Mission of Follow Christ, Equip Disciples and Rebuild Families.

Those in First Touch Ministries are the first touch for every person attending and visiting EQUIP Church. They must be flexible, able to volunteer for different events for the church, pray for those requesting prayer, be genuinely friendly & welcoming, show the love of Christ at all times, answer questions about the church and services as well as reinforce the values and mission of ECI.

The Media Ministry is responsible for the execution of what others see; therefore those in this ministry should have an eye of creativity.  They will be responsible for enhancing the experience of Praise & Worship, what is seen on Church’s monitors, how our services are seen via YouTube, IG and other social media platforms.
